The story
I've spent over two decades building things — companies, systems, communities, and occasionally themed wedding experiences officiated by Michael Myers. The thread running through all of it is a drive to solve hard problems and leave things more reliable, more useful, and more human than I found them.
My career has been shaped as much by entrepreneurship as by engineering. I founded and ran Foxtail Technology for 12 years, growing a hosting business from scratch into a multi-data-center operation before merging it with Proof+Geist in 2021. I co-founded Partini, a boutique event company. I built Kibble for Colonies to support feral cat caretakers. I've served on arts and non-profit boards, volunteered as a circus acrobatics intern, and trained as a beach naturalist. If something needed building and no one else was doing it, I generally just started.
Today I lead infrastructure strategy and operations at Proof+Geist, overseeing cloud architecture, DevOps, and systems that span more than 50 data centers worldwide. I care deeply about reliability, automation, and the kind of thoughtful engineering that quietly keeps everything running. I'm equally at home writing a Terraform module and presenting on stage at a conference.
Outside of work I'm a gardener, a ghost story reader, a Medieval history enthusiast, a badminton player, and the full-time staff of seven rescue cats.

Non-profit founded in 2024. Provides gift card funding to feral cat colony caretakers — built from personal experience and a genuine love of the mission. Learn more
